++ Vlademir Lenin breaking the Heirachy of Russia ++

Vladimir Lenin was the leading figure in the Russian revolution and the formation of the Soviet Union. He was first a law student, but ended up leading the Bolsheviks and eventually taking control of the government. At the time, Russia was ruled by the Tsar, Tsar Alexander III. He lead to the end of the monarchy in Russia and created the Soviet Union, a nation in which he had a dream where there will be no hierarchy in a country. There will only be the working force of the country who owns and run the country. There will be no landlords or class of people that pays or controls the labor class of people. There will only be the labor class of people.

Before the Soviet Union, Russia was a monarchy with the Tsar in control, where there are nobles and people who were like lords and landlords. They would be the ones that would control the nation, which Lenin saw that it was a way to control the people and that it was a way for the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer and die of starvation. Lenin saw that to make the people as equal as possible, created the Soviet Union where he thought that when there are no hierarchy of people, no classes except for one, the labor class, there will be equality and happiness.

This was because Lenin got most of his ideas from Carl Marx, the creator of the Marxism. It was the same concept as the Communism that Lenin created. The world that Lenin created, however, was a nation that was filled with lots of errors and ways for people to exploit them.

The economy, for instance, would not grow as fast as other types of government, since everyone is the labor force. There are no people or groups of people who can do free companies or own business for their own. This is because it would put the people in the hierarchy or class of people that are not laborers. There will only be common ownership, or that everything in the country belongs to everyone.

The political influence is also great as well. In this new system, it is a step away from monarchy and a little more closer towards the people (labor class) running the country and a little bit of communism. But in actuality, the country was run by officers and dictators as Stalin would eventually after the death of Lenin. This was because to make sure that the country would be run right, a government of the party of Lenin would have to run the country and have to govern the peoples. This meant that it is not that much different from the other governments.

The society also changed. The people were expected to be all labor class, equal and same. However, this only meant that the new government, the controlling body of the nation, has the entire population as labors, where no one is safe from being taken and used. It was a way to ensure that all was equal in this new system.

++ David Beckham = Football Player [Today]? ++

David Beckham
The boy from East London first made everyone sit up and take notice when he scored a wonder goal on the first day of the 1995/6 English football season. In lobbing a 60-yard belter from inside his own half to beat Wimbledon goalkeeper Neil Sullivan, he marked the arrival of a football phenomenon.

Born in Leytonstone on May 2, 1975, David Robert Joseph Beckham was a Manchester United fan from a very early age. He even insisted on wearing a Red Devils shirt when training with London club Tottenham Hotspur as a schoolboy. The admiration was mutual – the biggest football club in the world had its eye on the young player – and, aged 16, he signed as a trainee with Man U.

The skinny teenager rose from cleaning the first team's boots to a spell in the reserves, before making his league debut in 1995, just a month shy of his 20th birthday. But it wasn't until 1997 that he really emerged into the spotlight when he met and fell for Spice Girl Victoria Adams, commonly known as Posh.

The attraction between the couple was instant, and ten months after embarking upon a relationship they announced their engagement. "I've met the man I know I'm going to grow old and wrinkly with," enthused Victoria.

David could do no wrong – until the 1998 England/Argentina match in France. The golden boy of English football was sent off early in the second half for a petulant kick against Argentinian player Diego Simeone. England was out on penalties and Beckham's name was mud.

Following the match, David flew straight to New York where the Spice Girls were on tour. And it was here the couple's son Brooklyn Joseph was reportedly conceived.

Beckham junior kicked off life on March 4, 1999, after being delivered by caesarean section at London's Portland Hospital. Four months later his parents tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Dublin's Luttrelstown Castle. Brooklyn was joined by second son Romeo on September 1, 2002, with the youngest Beckham, Cruz, making his debut in early 2005.

In November 2003 David received what he described as his "best" honour - an OBE from the Queen. "It's not just for me but for Manchester United, England, all of my teammates and my family," he said.

The same year it was announced the devoted Manchester United fan would be leaving his beloved club and moving to Madrid-based Spanish team Real Madrid on a four-year contract.

Another monumental decision came just after England bowed out of the 2006 World Cup for the second time in the quarter-final stages. The soccer ace announced he was to step down as captain of the squad - a role he held for six years. "It has been an honour and a privilege to captain our country and I wish to stress that I want to continue to play for England," he declared.

The success enjoyed by David on the football pitch was perhaps only equalled by that of "Brand Beckham". Marketing initiatives based on his iconic status included a fragrance as well as lucrative sponsorship deals - with the likes of Gilette, Pepsi and Motorola. Keen to pass on his love for 'the beautiful game', David has also branched out into establishing football academies for young people in both the UK and the United States.

And David Beckham leaves Real Madrid at the end of the season for Major League Soccer's the Los Angeles Galaxy and a $250 million contract. He will become the biggest star to play soccer in the United States since Pele and Franz Beckenbauer played in the now-defunct North American Soccer League in the 1970s. MLS even changed its rules on salary caps, clearing the way for Beckham to sign the lucrative deal and become the first player to be signed under the new rule.

+ It's Another New Year......but for what reason? +

Happy New Year!" That greeting will be said and heard for at least the first couple of weeks as a new year gets under way. But the day celebrated as New Year's Day in modern America was not always January 1.

ANCIENT NEW YEARS
The celebration of the new year is the oldest of all holidays. It was first observed in ancient Babylon about 4000 years ago. In the years around 2000 BC, the Babylonian New Year began with the first New Moon (actually the first visible cresent) after the Vernal Equinox (first day of spring).

The beginning of spring is a logical time to start The beginning of spring is a logical time to start a new year. After all, it is the season of rebirth, of planting new crops, and of blossoming. January 1, on the other hand, has no astronomical nor agricultural significance. It is purely arbitrary.
The Babylonian new year celebration lasted for eleven days. Each day had its own particular mode of celebration, but it is safe to say that modern New Year's Eve festivities pale in comparison.

The Romans continued to observe the new year in late March, but their calendar was continually tampered with by various emperors so that the calendar soon became out of synchronization with the sun.
In order to set the calendar right, the Roman senate, in 153 BC, declared January 1 to be the beginning of the new year. But tampering continued until Julius Caesar, in 46 BC, established what has come to be known as the Julian Calendar. It again established January 1 as the new year. But in order to synchronize the calendar with the sun, Caesar had to let the previous year drag on for 445 days.

THE CHURCH'S VIEW OF NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS
Although in the first centuries AD the Romans continued celebrating the new year, the early Catholic Church condemned the festivities as paganism. But as Christianity became more widespread, the early church began having its own religious observances concurrently with many of the pagan celebrations, and New Year's Day was no different. New Years is still observed as the Feast of Christ's Circumcision by some denominations.

During the Middle Ages, the Church remained opposed to celebrating New Years. January 1 has been celebrated as a holiday by Western nations for only about the past 400 years.

NEW YEAR TRADITIONS
Other traditions of the season include the making of New Year's resolutions. That tradition also dates back to the early Babylonians. Popular modern resolutions might include the promise to lose weight or quit smoking. The early Babylonian's most popular resolution was to return borrowed farm equipment.

The Tournament of Roses Parade dates back to 1886. In that year, members of the Valley Hunt Club decorated their carriages with flowers. It celebrated the ripening of the orange crop in California.

Although the Rose Bowl football game was first played as a part of the Tournament of Roses in 1902, it was replaced by Roman chariot races the following year. In 1916, the football game returned as the sports centerpiece of the festival.

The tradition of using a baby to signify the new year was begun in Greece around 600 BC. It was their tradition at that time to celebrate their god of wine, Dionysus, by parading a baby in a basket, representing the annual rebirth of that god as the spirit of fertility. Early Egyptians also used a baby as a symbol of rebirth.

Although the early Christians denounced the practice as pagan, the popularity of the baby as a symbol of rebirth forced the Church to reevaluate its position. The Church finally allowed its members to celebrate the new year with a baby, which was to symbolize the birth of the baby Jesus.

The use of an image of a baby with a New Years banner as a symbolic representation of the new year was brought to early America by the Germans. They had used the effigy since the fourteenth century.

FOR LUCK IN THE NEW YEAR
Traditionally, it was thought that one could affect the luck they would have throughout the coming year by what they did or ate on the first day of the year. For that reason, it has become common for folks to celebrate the first few minutes of a brand new year in the company of family and friends. Parties often last into the middle of the night after the ringing in of a new year. It was once believed that the first visitor on New Year's Day would bring either good luck or bad luck the rest of the year. It was particularly lucky if that visitor happened to be a tall dark-haired man.
Traditional New Year foods are also thought to bring luck. Many cultures believe that anything in the shape of a ring is good luck, because it symbolizes "coming full circle," completing a year's cycle. For that reason, the Dutch believe that eating donuts on New Year's Day will bring good fortune.
Many parts of the U.S. celebrate the new year by consuming black-eyed peas. These legumes are typically accompanied by either hog jowls or ham. Black-eyed peas and other legumes have been considered good luck in many cultures. The hog, and thus its meat, is considered lucky because it symbolizes prosperity. Cabbage is another "good luck" vegetable that is consumed on New Year's Day by many. Cabbage leaves are also considered a sign of prosperity, being representative of paper currency. In some regions, rice is a lucky food that is eaten on New Year's Day.

+ Happy New Year Everybody, Have a nice year and Have a nice time........Good Luck +

+++ Christmas...DaY +++

+++ What is Christmas?
: The word Christmas comes from the words Cristes maesse, or "Christ's Mass." Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus for members of the Christian religion. Most historians peg the first celebration of Christmas to Rome in 336 A.D.
Christmas is both a holiday and a holy day. In America it is one of the biggest event of the year (especially for kids), and for members of the Christian religions it is an important day on the religious calendar.
Photo courtesy -->During the Christmas season in America, many people take their children to a mall where they can "meet Santa."
: The federal government, all state governments, all schools/colleges/universities and the vast majority of businesses in America give employees one or two days off at Christmas, making it an important holiday (other federal holidays are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving). In the Roman Catholic calendar, Christmas is one of six holy feast days celebrated in America, the others being: Circumcision (New Year's Day), Ascension, Assumption (Mary's assumption into heaven, August 15), All Saints (November 1), and the Immaculate Conception (December 8).
+++ Why do people give each other presents on Christmas day?
: The tradition of gifts seems to have started with the gifts that the wise men (the Magi) brought to Jesus. As recounted in the Bible's book of Matthew, "On coming to the house they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh."
: As mentioned in the previous question, however, no one was really in the habit of exchanging elaborate gifts until late in the 1800s. The Santa Claus story (described later), combined with an amazing retailing phenomenon that has grown since the turn of the century, has made gift giving a central focus of the Christmas tradition.
+++Who is this Santa Claus person?
: According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, Santa Claus started with a real person, Saint Nicholas, a minor saint from the fourth century:
: According to tradition, he was born in the ancient Lycian seaport city of Patara, and, when young, he traveled to Palestine and Egypt. He became bishop of Myra soon after returning to Lycia. He was imprisoned during the Roman emperor Diocletian's persecution of Christians but was released under the rule of Emperor Constantine the Great and attended the first Council (325) of Nicaea. After his death he was buried in his church at Myra, and by the sixth century his shrine there had become well known. In 1087, Italian sailors or merchants stole his alleged remains from Myra and took them to Bari, Italy; this removal greatly increased the saint's popularity in Europe, and Bari became one of the most crowded of all pilgrimage centres. Nicholas' relics remain enshrined in the 11th-century basilica of San Nicola, Bari.
: Nicholas' reputation for generosity and kindness gave rise to legends of miracles he performed for the poor and unhappy. He was reputed to have given marriage dowries of gold to three girls whom poverty would otherwise have forced into lives of prostitution, and he restored to life three children who had been chopped up by a butcher and put in a brine tub. In the Middle Ages, devotion to Nicholas extended to all parts of Europe. He became the patron saint of Russia and Greece; of charitable fraternities and guilds; of children, sailors, unmarried girls, merchants, and pawnbrokers; and of such cities as Fribourg, Switz., and Moscow. Thousands of European churches were dedicated to him, one as early as the sixth century, built by the Roman emperor Justinian I, at Constantinople (now Istanbul). Nicholas' miracles were a favourite subject for medieval artists and liturgical plays, and his traditional feast day was the occasion for the ceremonies of the Boy Bishop, a widespread European custom in which a boy was elected bishop and reigned until Holy Innocents' Day (December 28).
: After the Reformation, Nicholas' cult disappeared in all the Protestant countries of Europe except Holland, where his legend persisted as Sinterklaas (a Dutch variant of the name Saint Nicholas). Dutch colonists took this tradition with them to New Amsterdam (now New York City) in the American colonies in the 17th century. Sinterklaas was adopted by the country's English-speaking majority under the name Santa Claus, and his legend of a kindly old man was united with old Nordic folktales of a magician who punished naughty children and rewarded good children with presents.

+++ My Great KinG +++

+++ December 5 +++ The Kings Birthday Celebrations +++

: King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest reigning monarch is well beloved and deeply respected by all Thais old and young. The occasion of his royal birthday provides his loyal subjects the opportunity to express their reverence for him. All over the country, buildings and homes are elaborated and the area around the Grand Palace is spectacularly illuminated. There is a mystery surrounding King Bhumibol Adulyadej that goes right to the heart of modern Thailand

+++ What can we do for my beloved King ? +++

: For me, This is the most important time in Thailand this year. It is the 60th anniversary of His Majesty's accession to the throne on the 9th June 2006. On that day there was a large amount of people who went to celebrate. His Majesty the King gave a very meaningful speech. He said, "I will reign by virtue". The response His Majesty the King received after being on the throne for 60 years was amazing. He has done so much and traveled to so many places in the kingdom. Some places were very remote. His Majesty the King believes that the troubles of his subject will never end so he feels he needs to visit these remote places. It doesn't matter where he goes as he is doing it for his people.
On 9th June 2006 His Majesty the King went to Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall where he addressed the nation. Down below him thousands of people wearing the colour yellow. Everyone had come to celebrate the life of His Majesty the King. When His Majesty the King gave a small smile and waved, everyone in the crowd cried and cheered. What made the entire nation proud was to see Their Majesties the King and Queen together with members of Royal families from 25 countries around the world.
I would like to devote my life to His Majesty the King by being a person of good heart for my family, community and nation. I am like a little seedling that is growing to become a tree. I am being natured by His Majesty the King. I am just one of the seedlings in the forest. In the end I will be a strong tree because of His Majesty the King. He is like water that takes away the pain of the people. He is like the wind that makes the lives of people comfortable. He is like fire that makes them feel warm when it is cold. I believe that His Majesty the King will remain with us always. I believe he is like a mountain covered in many trees. These trees are his subjects that will never die. There will always be new trees, which will grow to replace any old trees that fall. This will make the mountain rich in vegetation forever.
The ideal way for me to pay devotion to His Majesty the King is to study hard. In the I will be able to use that knowledge to help and educate the youth and to explain to them the difference between right and wrong. I will be loyal to my community, family and nation. At the moment I am a prefect in the school. My duty is to look after the younger students. To make sure they behave well, be responsible students and not to do anything bad. If any of my friends turn to drugs, I see it as my duty to help them and to give them the support that they will need in order to get over the addiction.
I will be careful with the way I spend my money. This is because His Majesty the King always says, don’t spend beyond your means. Don’t spend it on things you don’t really need.
Finally, I hope that everyone will follow the teachings of His Majesty the King so that they will become a person of good heart. As a child of our king, I would like the people of Thailand to love each other and to help each other for our beloved king.

I Miss You : Darren Hayes
Give me a reason
Why I'm feeling so blue
Every time I close my eyes
All I see is you Give me a reason
Why I can't feel my heart
Everytime you leave my side
I just fall apart
And when you're fast asleep
I wonder where you go
Can you tell me I wanna know

Because I miss you
And this is all I wanna say
I guess I miss you
Beautiful these three words have said it all

You know I miss you
I think about you when you're gone
I guess I miss you Nothing's wrong
I don't mean to carry on

But give me a reason
Why I can't concentrate
The world is turning upside down
Spinning round and round
Now give me a reason Why
I now understand the beauty and simplicity
Of everything surrounding me
You got a way of spreading magic everywhere
Anywhere I go I know you're always there
It sounds ridiculous
But when you leave a room
There's a part of me that just wants to follow you too

Because I miss you
And this is all I wanna say
I guessI miss you Beautiful
These three words have said it all

You know I miss you
I think about you when you're gone
I guess I miss
you Nothing's wrong
I don't mean to carry on

It's such a hard life and most of the time
I'm just surviving
That's why I want you to know
In a world where sincerity has lost it's meaning
You fill my world with so much hope

And I miss you
This is all I wanna say
I guess I miss you Beautiful
these three words have said it all

You know I miss you
I think about you when you're gone
I guess I miss you
Nothing's wrong
I don't mean to carry on

You know I miss you
And this is all I wanna say I guess
I miss you Beautiful
these three words have said it all

You know I miss you
This is all I wanna do
I know it doesn't sound too cool
But maybe I'm in love with you

You know I miss you
This is all I wanna say I guess
I guess i miss you
Nothing's wrong
I don't mean to carry on

I just miss you
Yeah It's true I miss you baby
And when you're walking out the door
I know I miss you
You make me wanna ask for more
I just miss you

yeah it's true i miss you baby (x4)

~ Euthanasia Should Be Legalized ~

I think that Euthanasia is not wrong because it helps the patient to die peacefully and quickly. The patient may go through a lot of pain when he is alive, so it may be better if we kill them when they are not suffering too much. It may also be o.k. if we will kill the person because that person may want to die or do not want to live anymore. It is also good if the patient will die because the person may not be able to pay for his hospital.
First, the patient should be killed by Euthanasia because the patient may suffer a lot. The reason there should be Euthanasia in the first place is because the patient does not want to suffer anymore. So it is a good way to help that person not suffer by killing them when they want it and before they have to suffer a lot of pain.
The second reason is because the patients may want to die. If that person is in a lot of pain, that person may want to die. If that person really wants to die, then we must respect his offer and kill him when he wants it. It is that person’s right to die. If that person does not want to die, then we cannot kill him. But if that person does not know anything and have no mind or thinking, then that person’s family can decide whether or not to kill that person.
The third reason is because that the money used for people who are in coma or is in a lot of suffering can be a lot. And if the patient has no way of being cured, then it is maybe best to not make their life longer and just let them die quickly so that they don’t use up all the money or all their family’s money. It will be problem for the family if they have no money, so killing the person may be the best way.
I think that Euthanasia should be o.k. because it helps the patient not to suffer a lot, helps them to get death if they want it, and helps them with money problems or their family’s money problems. It may be bad to some culture because it is killing, but it
is the best way because of the reasons above.
